They also allow monitoring the website performance, by telling us witch pages are more popular, the connection method between pages that is more effective or to help us determine the reason why some web pages are displaying error messages. These cookies are only used for the purpose of statistic creation and analysis without ever collecting the user's personal information. With the use of these cookies we can offer the users a high quality experience by personalizing offers and rapidly identifying and correcting any errors that may occur.
Regarding their expiration date, the cookies used can be:
Permanent cookies - Stored in the devise's (computer, Cell phone / Smartphone or tablet) web browser used to access the website, these cookies are used every time that a user revisits a website. In general, they are used to adjust the website's navigation to the user's interests, allowing a more personalized service.
Session cookies - Temporary cookies that are generated and available until the end of the session. The next time that the user opens the web browser the cookies will no longer be stored. The information gathered by these cookies allows managing sessions, identifying problems and offering a better browsing experience.
Newsletters / Emails opening cookies
Newsletters and emails can, for statistics purposes, contain a small image that allow us to know if they are opened and to check which links or advertisements are clicked. There is always available a specific option to cancel the reception of these newsletters / emails in the message's footer.

The user has full control over the cookies permissions in Google Chrome. By default all cookies are allowed but the user can adjust these settings. If the cookies were defined or blocked in the page that the user is visualizing, an icon is showed at the end of the address bar.

Click on "Settings"
Click on "Show advanced settings"
In the "Privacy" section, click on the button "Content settings"
Block sites from setting any data
You can change the following cookie settings in the "cookies" section:
- Delete cookies
- Block cookies by default
- Allow cookies by default
- Keep local data only until the user quits the browser
- Create exceptions for website cookies or specific domains

Microsoft Internet Explorer
To disable all the cookies in Internet Explorer:
Click on "Tools" button and then click "Internet Options"
Click the "Privacy" tab
Move the slider to the top, where it will appear "Block all cookies"

To disable all the cookies in Mozilla Firefox:
Click the menu button and choose "Options"
Select the "Privacy" panel
In the "Privacy" panel deactivate the option "Accept cookies from sites"
Click "Ok" to save and exit.
